Hello

Post by Oscarsson »

Real name: Tony
Age: 28
Location: Norway
Years a pipe smoker: 8
How you got into pipe making: Suddenly I just got the urge to make something with my hands again. And I thought why not making pipes. After buying a total of around 20 pipes and some with different "systems" like the Petersons, Keyser, Falcons, The Magic Inch... The best smoker I had was just a regular straight billiard. So if the pipe is made correct there is no need for all of these systems. But they can be a good thing when you smokes the pipe through out the day and don't have pipe cleaners with you.
Other interesting facts: Not really  It went from cigars, to pipe then roll your own. I still roll my own, but the pipe is about half of my smokes pr day and I will never let it go :D

Welcome. I caught your post about the lathe face plate in Popular Science, didn't realize you were in Norway. Your English is certainly better than my Norwegian(which is zero).
