How you got into pipe making: I started making cigar ashtrays and just wanted to give it a try.
Other interesting facts: For my day job, I make maps. I hope to someday make some form of woodworking my primary income.

I just posted up my first pipe in the gallery section. Let me know what you think.

Welcome to the forum.
When I got out of the Navy I worked for a photogrammetric engineering firm in KC. I was involved in all phases of making topo maps from taking the aerial photos to ground surveying and operating Kelsh plotters. Quite interesting.
