bandsaw shaping

bandsaw shaping

i have seen alot of the italian pipemakers really rough out a pipe on the bandsaw. how far do some of you go.

I rough mine out to about 3/16th of an inch with a bandsaw. Mostly making strait cuts as the blade on the saw is pretty fat. Additionally, I knock off a good bit more with a scroll law.
