Hello guys, It's been a good while since I last posted on here for some reason, I hope you are all well.
This is the latest pipe I have finished. This particular pipe is a small virgin pipe that Mimmo and I started last summer when I visited him to buy some briar, but I haven't gotten around to finish it until now. I would love for you guys to tell me what you think of it!

Re: Bamboo pipe finished.
Nice work!
I really like where this one is heading. The shaping is very close. I think the spacing between the last knuckle of bamboo and the start of the stummel is a little too far apart and the bowl is a little too large for the shank. There's something that looks like maybe epoxy squeeze-out between the bamboo and the stummel as well.
Other than that, it's looking really nice.

Very nice. I really like the stummel. I think I would have arranged the large nodules of the bambo top and bottom rather than the sides, but that's just my prefetence.

Nice looking pipe !
Re: Bamboo pipe finished.
The bowl face needs more taken off especially near the shank. Button is a bit chunky and could use some refinement. A bit less flare in the stem would have looked better.

Thanks guys. I should tell you that I really can't take all the credit for everything on this pipe for good or bad, because last summer when I visited Mimmo I asked him to show me how he made bamboo pipes, so he turned the overall shape of the bowl, cut and fitted the bamboo and made the ebonite cap, so the nodular arangement and bamboo size I can't really help.
Of course the bowl face, button and stem flare is all on me.
Jeremiah, it actually isn't epoxy squeeze out, it's the frayn end of the bamboo. Come to think of it, why did I even post this pipe as mine since I'm not the person behind a large part of it?
Wayne, how to you mean about the button? that it's to square, or to big overall or to long maybe?

I like it !
Re: Bamboo pipe finished.
The depth of the button is a bit thick in proportion to the overall size of the pipe.
