Where do you guys get your bands from? I see a lot of bands on pipes that are not carried by the major pipe making suppliers

They got plenty at Pipemakers Emporium with pictures, just go to the link I posted.

Repair bands are always plain. Decorative bands can be anything, but must be made by a jeweler or someone with jewelry-making skills and tools. You won't find the latter loose and for sale unless they were salvaged.

I think a lot of the stuff off Instagram (that is being referred to above) are actually cheap jewelry (I don't mean this negatively) that the maker is using as a band. It's really just a ring they found that was the right size.
Am I Calamity Jane or Annie Oakley??...depends on the day.

As in, a ring originally made for a human finger, not a pipe.

I'd imagine yard sales and flea markets are your best bet, OP.
