Meerschaum Auction Benefits Orphanage

I made mention of this the other day but I thought I'd make an official announcment!

I am auctioning off several Meerschaum pipes that were purchased in Turkey by a friend of mine. This friend is having me auction them off in order to raise funds for an orphanage that he supports in Burkina Faso, Africa. For a sort of proof of the orphanage in Burkina Faso you can see this article here by a local paper:

Hi Ben,

Why didn't you put them on Ebay? There are some fees, but you get a much larger audience.

I still may put some of them on ebay. The only reason why I did it where I was is because since it's a christian run orphanage I thought the christian guys on CPS might with some extra cash for the good casue. I could always put that spin on it on ebay but I would think it would tend to be thought of as a sham. CPS knows me so that's a bit better. If the bidding doesn't go so hot on the first few, I still may turn to ebay...
