Which Is Best, Shop Rolls or Sheets?

Post by Frank »

Given a choice of these two, which is preferable, http://www.onlineindustrialsupply.com/i ... width.html or http://www.onlineindustrialsupply.com/i ... heets.html?

Does anyone know if the 500+ finer grits like these, http://www.onlineindustrialsupply.com/i ... heets.html, are available elsewhere in J weight, cloth back, preferably in Aluminium Oxide?

Regards,
Frank.

Hello
I was thinking that the cloth sheets ate better but latterly I’ve use the aluminum oxide over paper bottom for wet and dry sanding. They are better for me and I can find them here from 240 to 1500 grits.
I think the rolls are for belt sander aren’t they?

I would think these could work, although you would need a "velcro" type hand-held device to use them:
