Jaws question
Jaws question
What kind of jaws would I need to use if I wanted to hold a stem rod securely, in order to drill an air hole and turn a tenon ? Thanks in advance.

These are normally called "spigot" jaws. The Oneway Spigot jaws are an example:

note, you need to ensure that your compression range will handle the stock that you want to turn. The above jaws can accomodate anything from 1/4" to 1-7/8".
