Oh, my goodness. That top view, next-to-the-last above, makes the long stem look --- as I'm sure it is --- perfect! Very, very pretty.

How many pipes is this?

I see no gold bands in the last picture but see two bands in the previous.
Checking back to page 1 they are all also bandless.

Is it just my eyes?

Your absolutely right, if youread my post before the this batch of pics, I said I have made a similar pipe before , and I would include a pic of that one...yes it had brass border rings. Go to my gallery, I think there's another pic, pg #2 or 3 not sure.
