Hi Guys,
A customer sent me this pic a while back and asked me to make one in a tan blast:
I've been dreading doing it, but it finally came up in the rotation today. Here is the result:
This was a very labor intensive shape, and I'm very pleased with the way it came out. I learned quite a bit!
The stem inlay is ironwood supplied by the customer.
Let me know what you think.

Wow, that's a beautiful pipe, Rad!
While certainly a departure from typical Rad, it is clearly yours all the same. I can well imagine it would be a stretch to work on something like that, and an excellent excersise.
Nice depth to the blast, and the rings followed the shape wonderfully. I love the blasted birdseye on the bottom.
A very fine piece! I can well imagine your customer being ecstatic when he gets it!

New shape for me
Hey Rad,
I think that you did a fantastic job on that one. I love what you did with the stem.
Why does the picture that you used look so familiar?
Great job!

Skip, I have no idea what you're talking about.
Actually, I recognized that white pebble background when I got the pic and went to your site, hoping to see more pics, but there's only that one. You should include at least a few more, to help out us knock-off artists.
