that was wierd... First thing that came up for me was a cow with his tongue out. I reloaded and now I just see his chest or something like that. This will be kewl to watch every once in a while. I wish he had a faster connection tho... 20 sec. refresh rate is horrible.

Yea, I got the cow too. Considering its 10:00 or so there, I doubt we'll see much this afternoon.

It's a good thing they don't have a web cam in my office here at work.... I can see it now " Is that all he does is snuff and drink coffee? "

If you happen to be watching Tom sand the lab stain off of those bamboo pieces right now, you're witnessing some of his real genius. It's taken me 3 years to get even moderately adept at this process. You'll notice the towel, which is really the key to his golden contrast finish. He constantly wipes the sanding dust off of the pipe and out of the pores of the sandpaper and then, with the accuracy of a neurosurgeon, targets specific and tiny areas with pinpoint accuracy. That's why his pipes *never* show anything approaching a splotchy or uneven finish. Tom is, in my opinion, the best and most creative pipemaker in all of Europe.

Yes, and it was a gift from a customer!! Like Tom says himself, "It's good to be a pipemaker!"
