last weekend when visiting my brother, i smoked one of my pipes for the first time 'in front' of him. he was cool with it and all but remarked, "It's interesting that you're strangest childhood obsession carried through with you to adulthood."
i was totally obsessed with pipes as a kid. i would just sit and stare at total strangers until they would be forced to give me their pipe. my dad's friends were reluctant to smoke their pipes around me... i once broke my dad's pride and joy meerschaum lion head since i couldn't leave it alone...
