I'm a moron when it comes to most major powertools, so take this comment with a grain of salt. :)

I used to be a serious paintball aficionado, which has absolutely nothing to do with pipes, woodworking, or sand blasting, but we did have a lot of science involved in the filling of our air tanks. I can definitely tell you that the pressure in a high pressure air tank will always drop a bit as the air inside changes temperature. We would typically "top off" our tanks about 15 minutes after first filling them, just to maximize the amount of air we carried with us onto the battlefield. I imagine that this is very similar to what is going on in a large compressor like the ones used for sandblasting.

Again....total rube goldberg observations from a guy without a sandblasting set up....but hopefully helpful. :)

I bolted mine to the concrete garage floor, sinking anchors and using big ass bolts, after I shimmed it level.

This is why my blasts come out so nice.

it's good to hear you're regular in the bathroom, Rad, but how are your pipes?

I heard it was the ground unicorn horns that you used as a blasting medium that did it.

I just picked mine up and bolted the feet to the wall like a real man. Only a south Alabama sissy girl would go the easy route and use the floor. Besides, Rad fails to mention that it's a dirt floor and he blasts barefoot!
