I'm really happy with the grain, not so happy with the shaping of the stub stummel. VERY hard to shape that stub with the bamboo in place...
Overall fit and finish is not my finest, especially as the bamboo seems to have shrunk a bit over the last month since it was finished, leaving little gaps between the 'boo and the cumberland. And yeah, there's a little stain in the chamber that won't come out without major surgery.
Speaking of cumberland, this was some from PME. I had a very hard time getting it to shine at all, much harder to do than black ebonite. Is that unusual, or is it just me?
