Hello gents, My question is what do you prefer jh lowe has a great little tenon turner Im doing alot of repair and I have been primarely using my micro lathe.Is there an advantage to this or should I stick with my lathe for this ?? Thanx Bob Clark.

The tenon turner is really only useful (since you have a lathe) for stems with attached tenons that will not fit in your chuck. Someplace on these forums I saw a tool someone had made that clamps on to the mouth piece, then that is held by the chuck.

Yes I have a stem holder for my lathe (It's nice having a brother in law that has a bridgeport in his basement) I can make one for anyone is interested. However I'm constantly measureing with calipers. It's not hard just a pain in the $^& and I did'nt know if this was faster for repair puposes thax Bob Clark
