Jade green inlay material needed

Post by RonniB »

I need some jade green inlay material that can be turned. Have to make some repro Brakner stems and his inlay dot color is like a medium jade green. Bakelite, acrylic, whatever can be turned. A pic with a stem and proper color dot can be supplied.

Hey Ronni,

Have you looked at malachite Tru-stone? It's a deep malachite green, which is pretty jadey, and in small dots, you probably woudn't see the pattern in it.

You can have some of my green Bakelite scrap if you need it Roni. I've got various "jade" colors.

Let's see if I did this link right. It's for a Brakner on Ebay. THe middle pic shows the dot color nicely.
