OK.it's a rough start, you have the idea of a concept that is a pipe. Now start to practise your hand in materials available to you ,for the shape, tehnik and know-how you have this great site and all the good people in it .
It's a start - welcome :)

For being all freehand, you got the bowl and shank really round. Nice!

Well... so far no one has hurt my feelings... :whisper:

I couldn't wait so I smoked tonight... Nice and cool... I guess that's what happens when you have a 3/8" bowl all the way around...

I'm a little on the :filth-n-foul: side because I don't have all the needed tools I should have for a smiple pipe... I don't even have a file...

If it has a stem, and bowl, and smokes, it must be a pipe! :D

I like it, a true piece of history. It should not be judged against a one-piece briar stummel like those we make here, but against the two-piece pipe of native wood that would have been hand-carved in the old days with minimal tools around a campfire or homestead. Good job! I myself plan to mess with some mesquite pretty soon, because nothing could be more authentic to Texas.

And welcome to the forum by the way.
Regards,
Tim
