For Sale - Taig Lathe

Post by d6monk »

Hey everyone,

I used to use my taig lathe for stem work, but ever since I got a larger lathe I haven't used it enough to justify the space it is taking up in my shop. It is in absolutely perfect condition and has always been oiled, cleaned, etc.--basically just like new except I've already put it together :). Anyway, here is a list of what it includes including the original prices I paid for the stuff:

K1019 - $159.50 - Unassembled Micro Lathe II kit
1022 - $5.25 - Motor mount bracket
1023 - $7.70 - Mounting board 12"x18"
1060 - $72.40 - 4 jaw self centering scroll chuck
1091 - $10.40 - 0-1/4" Jacobs drill chuck
1092 - $10.80 - 1/16"-3/8" Jacobs drill chuck
1150 - $39.50 - Drilling tailstock
1151 - $16.70 - Needle bearing center
1170 - $4.70 - Extra tool post
1310 - $7.50 - 1" Spindle Wrench
1162 - $25.80 - Pulley set for 1/2" shaft motor (specify 3M 500 belt)
1021W - $106.40 - Marathon Motor 1/4HP 1725rpm 1/2" shaft

Total: 466.65

Also included is 1 left hand and 1 right hand turning tool I just recently ground, and 1 tool blank. Everything that originally came with the lathe is included--allen wrenches, chuck keys, instructions etc. Some stuff is not shown in the photo below, but is in just as good condition. I'd like to get 395.00 for it, and buyer would pay shipping (which I imagine will be about 25.00 depending on where you live). Just PM me if interested!

Thanks!

Would you be interested in taking a Colt Cobra, nickel finish in trade? I was planning to offer it for sale where I work so that I could buy a Taig and was hoping to get $450.00 for it, but have not gone through the process yet. Its in great shape and has only been fired a couple of time. Includes belt clip holster. I could not seem to insert a photo, but if you will email me at traderbob@charter.net I will email photos.

Sorry Bob, I'm just hoping to get cash for it. If you do end up selling the colt and the taig is still available just PM me though!
