Lathe for stem work?

Post by Charl »

I saw this lathe for sale on a local site, and thought it might work well for stemwork. The price is also very decent for my pocket. Anybody (or Jack :) ) know this brand? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hmmm. Looks like it's clean and in good shape. I'd go take a look at it and check it out in person. It doesn't have a chuck, but it does appear to have a backplate for one, so it should be fairly easy to get one fitted. IT seems to have been well maintained, but very little can be told from pictures.
