Pipe #1

Post by NateTheBookie »

Ok, so after much time lurking on this forum, I have finally made a pipe. Without further ado, I give you my #1. It's 7 3/4" Long by 1 3/4" wide. The tobacco chamber is 3/4" by 1 1/2" deep. I used a Pre-formed stem with a 1/4" Delrin tenon. A friend was nice enough to let me use his shop, but #2 may have to wait till I can get my own lathe, we'll see.

The flat spot is for my thumb, full album is here:

Fantastic! It looks exactly like a pipe! It doesn't get much better than that on a first attempt. Good work.
