Anyone out there ever tried to use this stand with their Delta? If it fits, my second question is... Is it stable enough when drilling.
Thanks,
TC

Does This Stand Fit My Delta LA200?
TC,
I'm not sure if it fits the Delta, but I've got my Jet mini on that stand. I've been having issues with it, when drilling or turning briar blocks. It works fine for rod stock, squared turning blanks, etc but it shakes quite a bit when dealing with unevenly weighted pieces like most briar blocks. I think I'm going to bolt my lathe to a sturdy workbench in the very near future.

The Jet, Delta, Rikon, and the other minis use the same castings. This stand should fit your lathe without any modification. My woodturning club uses these stands and while they aren't exactly rock solid, drilling shouldn't tax the stand. Vibration is what shakes things up. Off balance stuff needs either a heavy lathe/stand, or it needs bolting down.tigercasual wrote:http://www.amazon.com/Jet-708354-JML-S- ... roduct_top

Have you tried bolting to this stand? If so, how big of a difference was there?
Cheers,

No, not me personally, but I have seen Jet, Rikon, and Delta mini/midi lathes mounted on this stand.tigercasual wrote:Grammaton,Grammaton wrote:The Jet, Delta, Rikon, and the other minis use the same castings.
