Post by MrChurchwarden »

Hey guys, I received this pipe as a gift today and was wondering if anyone can tell anything about it, I cannot find any marks.

Looks like a Medico. They made a lot of pipes with silver filigree like that.

it seems like medico stamped their pipes like this one

should i consider mine a second or cheap copy with no marks at all?

It might also be a Silversmith pipe. They made pipes around the same time as Medico. In fact, a little googling revealed a handful of pipes nearly identical to yours. No markings at all? Not even on the bottom of thank, incorporates into the filigree?

None, went over it again even more thoroughly. I am leaning towards this silversmith brand because the stem doesn't really seem to be made for the medico filter.
