Hey Jens,
i still have a hate-love relationship with fossilized bog-oak , it depends on how well the dark material is placed onto the shape of the pipe.
I like this one,you brought the rather plain grain to an appealing appearance underlining it with the bamboo-stem transition,it is a classic .
