Abi, this is so nice....
you are making really nice pipes and this one is no excuse....
very nice piece of briar with your signature on it... i should say a really good design and very very nice precision work...

Nicely done Abi! The way the grain of the briar and olivewood looks so integral is exquisite. Definitely staying true to your own style ;) Kudos

Hi Abi,

great work once again  ! Had to take a second look to like it, but now, the longer I look at it, the more I like it. Are filter pipes as popular in Montenegro as they are in Germany, or did you do that on customers request?

I agree with Jens. Except that I had not to take a second look. Your pipes are so distinctive and unique, they're typical at first sight. Just grand!

Cheerio!

Comrades ,
I always enjoy your comments and constructive criticism  !

Jens ,
yes' i like to implement details in a shape that can evolve in time together with the observer .
The 9mm filters made by Vauen is of course a standard nowadays as in Germany also in Montenegro,Greece,Italy and other neighboring countries ,it is more of a choice but a very popular one .

You are right ,the filter inlay on this pipe was a customers request , pipe dealing stores are also requesting from me to implement a 9mm filter into the pipes as often as possible .
Of course there is sometimes more room to express some long shank shapes without the filter, but the client is king and it's fine with me!

Best,
Abi
