Here is some really beautiful olivewood from the Holy Land.
I bought some of it but havent used it yet. Its nice with not too much splits and cracks.

I have one piece from Woodcraft that is still very heavy (wet) and it has been drying about six months. Heavily waxed , I finally scrapped it all off except on the ends. Somedow it should make a nice couple of pipes though. I find most of their wood to be higher moisture content but especially the blocks that are waxed and listed for turning.andrew wrote:You can buy olivewood from Woodcraft.
