..And I thought I had it bad here in Georgia when it hit 98 (humid and polluted).
I'm taking the Summer Off. Don't wanna move too fast, move at all, don't even wanna talk fast, takes too much energy, generates too much heat.

Global warming due to the friction of Rad's dull lathe tools.

I have two overhead fans in my garage. This is enough for me most of the time BUT lately it has been too hot and humid. I was forced to turn on the ac. It has not been turned on in years.

Damn you Boekweg! My wife and kids just got there yesterday afternoon (Green River) and called just to say it was 79 degrees. It was still 105 on my front porch at 8:30 last night.

Where in Wyoming are ya?

Jeremy, I'm here in Austin so I feel your pain man. There have been a few days where I got sick from working out in the garage. It feels like an oven out there!!!! It's ridiculous man! People aren't supposed to live like this! I'm praying that it will turn out like the summer before last.....when it cooled down significantly in September. I'm sure you remember. Anyway, I do my sanding inside where the AC has been running straight for the past two months. I just love the utility bills this time of year, don't you? HA HA....Anyway PRE-HYDRATE and REHYDRATE! be sure to consume your electrolytes.

Take air,

I spent last week moving. There was one afternoon when I started getting light headed and tunnel visioned. And I'm not talkin' about drinkin' whiskey or focusing on my work. I HAD to take a break.

I'm starting to think that the earth is falling off of it's axis. Our summers and winters are starting to get more extreme. We had quite a bit of cold weather and snow this past winter, now this.

Stay cool amigo!

Strange, our summer over here is being the most "average" one in 10 years...

Took the dog for a walk @ 9pm.
The temp. was 94 with a heat index of 108.
I took a shower after the walk!

It's been nice here - hot but not oppressive. The gardens love it! I just have to be sure to water every day, rain or shine.

But on those really hot days, I'm glad my workshop is in the basement where it stays cool. :D
