Nathan Armentrout

Post by e Markle »

Well, since he was comfortable pointing out Simeon's recent award, I thought it only fair to highlight Nathan's success at the show. Although I've seen several of his pipes here, I had the privilege to see them in person in Vegas, and they are *really* good. He not only sold a number of pipes, but he also received some very favorable feedback from names that we all know and respect.

For those of you who are collectors, I would encourage you to pick up one of Nathan's pipes now because I guarantee the prices will be going up very soon. Of course he does need to unlearn everything that he picked up from Sasquatch, but once that's done, he'll be a truly excellent carver.

I agree on all counts. But can the damage be undone?

Ernie's right. I think I should just forward the award I got on to Nathan...his stuff looks great!

Thanks, everyone, It was a great show and I am just glad that my pipes are finally starting to show the help and advice I have received from everyone here at the forum. I couldn't have done it without the forum.

And Chris, are you telling me I am the only one who rubs himself down with ebonite dust after I shower?

Ebonite dust! you fool!

I rub myself down with nothing but the best morta shavings and gaudici vulcanite dust. Boy do the ladies love it and my skin is softer than Sasquatch's butt cheeks and more suple than Kurt's chaps!

Agreed! I am now the proud owner of this pipe:

Some of you may recognize it from the gallery a couple months ago. It's a pretty exquisite pipe and I'm deeply indebted to Nathan for reserving it for me instead of hawking it to some lout at the Vegas show. Thanks again Nathan!

He was still able to hawk it to a lout though, so no worries on that score.
