Okay my boss, er, wife, just got an ipad, and her computer is apparently rigged up with a camera too... how do I do this?

You need to go to plus.google.com and create an account.



TO ALL WHO WANT TO JOIN:

Search for me. (Tyler Beard--my profile photo is me holding a trout. See that and you've found the right guy.) "Add me" to one of your "circles." (This should all makes sense once you get to google+.)

Then, when I see you've added me to you circle, I will add you back. That will allow you to see the "hang out" I've created. Join the hang out, and you're in.

If you can't get it going, go to my contact page on my web site (link in my sig line below) and you can find my phone number. Call me, and I bet we can sort it out.

Todd, I got you added. I will start the chat at about 10 minutes until 9:00 my time. You will be able to see it in your "stream" (the main view on google +) once I've initiated the chat. It should be obvious what to do from there. (Ernie has figured it out, so it ain't too tough.)

OH! Had a serious thought:

If you do end up using the iPad, you can't video chat through the website. (I know, I know) You have to download the Google+ app from the app store. You can video chat on an iPad through the app.
