There is a lot to like about this pipe, but also a lot that needs improvement. It looks like you have the basic shape and proportions down. It needs a little refinement. It looks like your shank is a little wavy; not easy to get right your first time. I'm not a fan of the rustication, but that may be personal preference. I would also like to see the bit, but obviously, your hand is in the way.

Overall, it looks pretty good. :thumbsup: Definitely a lot better than some factory made lovats I've seen. The lovat is one of my favorite shapes. I think your interpretation is pretty good.

I like it. Shaping isn't bad at all. I agree it could use a little more refining around the junction of the shank and bowl and the bowl could taper a touch towards the rim. It almost looks like the walls flare ever so slightly outward towards the rim.
