I was thinking the same thing. I pmEd my recepiant and haven't recieved a response. Maybe we should give them a week to respond, and if they don't respond eliminate them from the list.

Got your PM, I am sorry I didn't respond. My post in this thread wasn't really a 'yes' and I think it was misinterpreted. I just said "what if I get attached to it?" I never said that I was definitely in. I have been extremely busy since then, and this is pretty much the first time i've visited the forum since them. I am so sorry, and I hope I didn't mess anything up. I bet I missed out on something great, so I am pretty sad about that, but I am sorry for the confusion.

That's ok, thanks for the quick response. It's not a problem if you let us known you are out Its the "wafflers", as trevor called the in another post, that will hold things up. I assume i will be shipping to the person after you on the list?

In the interest of solidarity, when we receive a pipe and smoke it, would we rather reviews be given publicly or just to the creator via pm?

I'd say if a person would prefer non-public review they could make their individual requests for such. Me personally, I prefer public. I know i'm a noob, i know i have a LOT of room for improvement. The thing i like most about this forum is that we all get to learn from each others mistakes and triumphs. I say bring on the truth so that others can learn from me as well. :notworthy:

Thoughts?
a week from the completion deadline? or a week from the Saturday after the completion date? It's been a week since the original deadline and I have not heard back from the person below me, should I wait longer or go down the list to the next person?

I strongly recommend that next year we all submit pictures by the deadline and then we know who is in or who is out.

A week from my post on Saturday. That way we've got a good amount of time to get the list shaken down.

That's a hard stop, BTW. If you're not heard from by this coming Saturday 2012.03.31, you'll get skipped over.

I will make my contribution with nothing but a dremel and a drill pres to level the playing field. Everyone feel better?

Get it! Do it ! Make it!
Kurt, thats one hell of a pipe especially since you only used a dremel tool and a drill press.

I'm impressed. 8)

I confess. I also used the sandblaster, sandpaper, and a buffer. Not that I would really want to do that on a regular basis, but this shows that it can be done.

Nicely done.

You just gotta BELIEVE in yourself! Most tools only make the work happen faster, and don't really make any work or another possible.
