Pyramid Tool

Post by MonsieurLabo »

Saw this page and made one to try. Thought I would share. Although I am a pure beginner at any form of wood turning with hand tools on a lathe this tool cuts like butter, at least on some Spanish cedar.

I was not attempting to make anything in particular. This was my first ever attempt at turning with a hand tool of any sort. A test of tool and getting a feel. This was square stock turned on a Taig lathe with the pyramid tool. Can't wait to purchase a set of mini turning tools and learn something.

Thanks Kenny, that would be great! I really do not know what the hell I doing yet. A pure beginner needing to learn how to use any turning tool.
