logan 200
logan 200
about a month ago i found a stellar deal on an old (1946) logan 200 and decided to jump on it. it was absolutely filthy, painted an obnoxious red/orange color, and was missing the change gears/ lead screw, but it ran and was for a good price. i spent the past month disassembling it, cleaning it from the inside out, painting it, and am now nearly done reassembling. twas a pain, but i feel i learned quite a bit that will help with maintenance and repairs during the process. here it is all painted up and almost put back together. just a few odds and ends left and then i'll throw it back up on it's legs.

Fantastic! It's good to see it nearly reassembled.

Looking good........... I'm sure you'll get many good years out of it.

Is it my eyes, or do you have a taper attachment compound -- slotted extension? Do you have the rest of it? Kinda rare on a 200.

it's not your eyes... it is a slotted compound extension on there. but no i don't have the rest of it, when i picked it up there was a box of random bits and pieces that i suspect were rigged up as some kind of homemade taper attachment, but i'm really not sure.
i finished replacing a few worn parts these past few days, and i've got it all up and running now and all seems well... just planning on slapping QCTP on once i get a chance, and bolting it down. here it is as of today:
Re: logan 200
Congrats on the pick up and well done on the restore. Looking forward to seeing your new pipes from it.
