Chimney "Sherlock Holmes"

Post by maxmil »

This pipe is an interpretation in Chimney version of Sherlock Holmes that used in the latest film version that became the character. It is a sandblasted pipe.
Best regards.
Félix

Esta pipa es una interpretación, en versión Chimney, de la que utiliza Sherlock Holmes en las más recientes versiones cinematográficas que se hicieron del personaje. Se trata de una pipa arenada.
Saludos.
Félix

Looks really great!

Does anyone know who made the original in the movie?

It looks pretty dandy man. The only issue I see is the top line, from the shank to the button. It seems to drop down too much. Kinda looks goofy.

I did it so the pipe was apparently curve, when really it is almost straight.
I did not do it like this:

Love the bowl shaping and finish. I'm not sold on the hump in the stem. I like your photoshopped version much better.

To do so would be a pipe more.

I love the look but I also think the stem looks odd. There is a version from the first movie that is similar but from what I could tell, it had a saddle stem. Do you think that would make it look more streamlined?

My pipe is as it is, did not mean to copy any of the pipes that are in the movie.

Not a complaint or a slight. I just didn't know if you had seen that one. I've been thinking about copying it.
