Sourcing Tools in the UK

Post by UncleDraken »

Hi there guys,

Couldn't find a previous thread on this subject or a section dedicated to the (probably) very few members that would be able to help so I'm throwing this in here.

Do any of the UK members have any advice on where to source tools for starting out? I won't be too specific at this stage for what I'm looking for but amongst other things I think I'm going to have trouble locating drill bits for the bowl and also finding a good briar block supplier.

Any help or suggestions appreciated :)

Convert your own spade bits, and hit ebay for most other bits.

Car boot sales can be a good source for used quality tools like rasps, files etc.

Buy the best you can afford.

For briar, rod, stems et al.

http://www.briarblocks.com/pipes/index.htm site is being rebuilt at the moment and is bit slow.
