I don't care too much for the slight curve in the bowl profile right at the top, otherwise, I think you've made a nice poker here! The cross-grain is great!

i agree with walt, the curve in a poker, i think, needs to be drastic or nonexistant. this one is kind of awkward. other than that there are nothing but good things that i see. and the block you used has outstanding grain.

I agree about the curve at top of bowl. I will use a block next time. The Poker is so easy to sand by wrapping paper around it and just having at it. I made the same mistake with my last billiard. I need to slow down and make sure of the details during the sanding stage. Thanks guys. One bad habit broken!
