either my bit wandered or my block moved on me whilest drilling the mortise so my draft hole is a tad high!

I didn't check stem alignment before I took the pictures and as you can see it was twisted a bit making the stem look crooked in the next pics

I like the shape. It looks to be very comfortable in the hand and jaw.

I like the pipe in general, however to my eye there are some shaping details that bother me. The pipe looks too front heavy. This means either you didn't take enough material off the chin, or you took too much off the bottom of the shank. Always pay attention to your shank diameter. Looks a bit inconsistent. The transitions look pretty good, though.

Is that big dark spot a flaw? If it is I would have rusticated the whole thing.

Overall, good job. You're progressing quickly. A lot quicker than I did. :thumbsup:
