This was also my first attempt at rustication. I got a little aggressive here, as seen in a) the nicks along the bowl rim, b) the gouge on the stem-shank junction, and c) the big gouge on the bottom of the shank.

Any comments and criticism are welcome and greatly appreciated!
Also, a quick question: I ended up sanding the shank and the bottom half of the pipe all the way to 600 before rusticating. I was worried about the stem-shank juncture staying flush as I sanded the stem, and then I was worried about keeping the line along the bottom of the stummel consistent from shank to bowl. Does everyone else do that? It seems like a bit of a waste of time to sand half the pipe and then rusticate it, but I'm not sure if there's a way around it.
