General rule? I dunno... I've never been able to get one *too* sharp, if that's what you mean! I pulled this pic straight from the first couple results of a google image search. Turns out it's a Chris Asteriou. See how nice and clean that rim looks? Very "professional"...the rev wrote:yeah it had razor sharp edges, but I thought that looked to harsh so I softened them a bit. the stem taper is not great, I used a delrin tenon and had to make room for it before I dove in. I should have used a 1/4 inch delrin or an integrated tenon. That is actually the second stem the first I sanded into the delrinarchaggelosmichail wrote:SchmidtN wrote:*Was expecting pics of Sas.*

You've made a nice one there.I like the height of the bowl and I would like to see a clear photo of the stem's tapering.
