Puerto Rican Pot
Puerto Rican Pot
This is the first pipe I made since Chicago. Everything else I've been working on is pipes I started before the show.
I likes it, cause its purty.

Re: Danish Billiard
Nice!
First pic towards the face there is a ding/flat spot. Also- is it the picture angle(?)- the stem looks a bit crooked.
Nice shaping though! Too bad about the sandpit on the back

Re: Danish Billiard
I like it with the curse of pipemakers on it. I think it was the buffer. The pipe is very nice.I Like this one, nicely proportioned. The stem is strong with nice lines.pretty purity.
Re: Danish Billiard

"but rev, isn't smoking a sin?"
well I suppose if one were to smoke to excess it would be a sin
"but what would be smoking to excess?"
Why smoking two pipes at once of course

Re: Danish Billiard
Because Ulf Noltensmeir says its a billiard ? I don't know what other good answer there is. S. Bang Billiards are shaped this way. There is a very slight taper and a cant.the rev wrote:why isn't this a pot? It looks like a pot to me. Please educate me

Re: Danish Billiard
The only way it could be more of a pot is if it came with a lid.
UFOs must be real. There's no other explanation for cats.
Re: Danish Billiard
Funny you mention that, because the bowl coating is nonstick teflon.LatakiaLover wrote:The only way it could be more of a pot is if it came with a lid.

Hope this helps.

You can steam these out with an iron and a wet paper towel. This ding popped out no problem.fuchi_jeg wrote:looking good. pic #1 someone else bounces pipes off of the lathe ways? thought that was just me.

Re: Puerto Rican Pot
I like it but i have so many tastless jokes in my head right now.
Re: Puerto Rican Pot
You guys are killing me.
That's a good looking billiard, Ryan.
The only things I see that could be better is that there appears to be a glue line where the extension meets the briar, the stem could be cut thinner towards the saddle, and the finish could be shinier but that's all pretty trivial. Nice job man.
