Somehow this gem has slipped through the cracks of this otherwise enlightened thread. I'm with Sas, I much prefer a copy of a copy of a copy of an Italian basket pipe. Sas opened my eyes to that value of that school of pipe making years ago.Sasquatch wrote: not just a copy of a copy of a copy of a Chonowitch (something that this crowd IS guilty of in my opinion).

Like that Tom Hanks movie with the giant dog... can't recall the name.Tyler wrote:I go on vacation for a week, and come back to this.
At least furniture, stereos, and carpeting can be replaced. Rotted brains, not so much. (With Squatchy, it's glue, I think. UHM is obviously on crack)
UFOs must be real. There's no other explanation for cats.

How was the trip to Grant's rev? Making better pipes than Ernie, yet? I mean, it's not like that was hard to begin with...

Well I was very disappointed, Jody Davis is in Nashville and he is a recognized master pipe carver I have no idea why he wasn't teaching the class. If pipe making classes are going in the direction of tormented blowfish and droopy pokers then I might just have to never go there again.
As for Ernie, Ernie makes a very good pipe...

True that. Just don't tell him. There's no telling how big his ego would get.the rev wrote:As for Ernie... Ernie makes a very good pipe
