pencil blaster
pencil blaster
Hi all , It seems that my basting set up will soon be a reality. I'm getting a 80 gal. 15 cfm@ 90psi compressor and a cyclone bench cabinet. My question is cyclone offers a combo blast cabinet with a regular nozzel and also a pencil blaster. Does anyone have an opinion on this or has ever used this before? is there better alternatives? Or can you just use different nozzels? I think the media would be softer to do detail blasting. thanx

I have heard from people who's opinion I trust and value, that the cyclone pencil blaster of which you speak is a waste of time.

Yes, they are no good for pipes.Tyler wrote:I have heard from people who's opinion I trust and value, that the cyclone pencil blaster of which you speak is a waste of time.
Your compressor may be a little small for blasting pipes. 15CFM@90 psi will take quite a while to get a pipe blasted. It can be done though.
