Pipe Shape Question

Post by baiguai »

I am VERY green to pipe making (so far just made a couple pipes using cherry wood dowels - kind of like the $5-10 meerschaum cherry woods). I've been making them in a similar shape to fantasy pipes I've seen described as Dwarven pipes etc. But I was wondering if there is a generally recognized shape/style that these unique shaped pipes would fall under. I'll be posting my pipe to the Gallery (as soon as I get some decent pictures) but I have included an image of it so that you can see the shape in question.

Thanks - And thanks for allowing me to be a part of this forum, so far the reading has been amazingly educational!

Cherrywood is the name of that shape, generally.
