If you want to be able to make any pipe, you've got to start with a block that's just right. Otherwise, the grain just won't look as nice.

that 1950's Algerian has a distinct and pleasant smell when working with it. It gives a whole new definition to 'seasoned'. And the coloring that is darker than most briar, shows the block has been seasoned for a long long time, like 50-60 years. There is no more left (in my stock), so unless you have a time machine to go back to the 50's, you won't see much more of it. Except for Sandahl, he'll see it for a few years
now back to the topic, who's gonna split a room with me? I may just have to suspend a rock climbing tent on the outside of the building. Who has a room with an operative window?

Man I would if I didn't have 2 room mates already! Good news is, there always seems to be somebody pop up that needs to split a room before the show gets here.
