hows stemco pimo as far as ordering from them, i carved a few cherry wood pipes sometime back and just ordered some churchwarden bits from them, how are they are far as service goes?

If you are asking about Pimo, I can tell you that they ship twice a week and I've always gotten my goods very quickly.

Ginny is a doll, and gets *everything* out on time. She also responds to questions quickly, and is very helpful. I can't say enough good things about PIMO's service.

got a reply from those guys today at pimo

il be sure to post some picks of some finished churchwardens im gonna try out of cherry wood and maybe some purple heart not much briar up here in British Columbia

FWIW, I believe that purpleheart is toxic when vaporized so I would suspect that it might not be the best choice for a stummel. But, it might make a nice decorative wood to use w/ a cherrywood stummel! :)
