I'm going. I like the show and the club members.
I was sorely disappointed I couldn't make the KC show, I had my grandchildren here. The KC club members are some of the nicest.

I'm planning on it. I've heard a lot of good things about this being a smaller show where you can really sit down and get to know people.

Let's have a show of hands. Who's going to this show. I know Rod Davies will be there as well as Adam Davidson. Bobby Nesbitt and Charlie Stewart will be there. I'm going but am having one heck of a time finding a hotel. Everything is booked.

Wish I could be there, but can't make it due to work obligations. Especially sorry to miss what appears to be their last show, and it's looking like it would have been a beautiful drive through stunning fall colors too

I'm excited about the drive, as you mention. New car, colors, mountains and to see good friends.sethile wrote:Wish I could be there, but can't make it due to work obligations. It's sad the show is ending, but I understand there will be a New Orleans show to take its place. Bravo for oysters on the half shell...........gimme two dozen, please!
Re: anybody going to richmond this year
I'm excited about New Orleans as well. Hopefully a few big names get on board like that Weever fella or Rod Davies.
Sad to say I won't make Richmond for it's last show.

I'll be in Richmond. I hadn't heard about a New Orleans show! That'll be a great excuse to go home!
Re: anybody going to richmond this year
New Orleans pipe club is getting together with the Austin Tx club and doing the show in October 2015.

Hell yes, I'm game for the show in New Orleans! Like I said: "Gimme two dozen"! The food, music, antiquing, a plate full of beignets and chicory coffee, and the best........oysters!Alden wrote:I'm excited about New Orleans as well. We have to keep Rod Davies away from the beignet...................the heart thing!
