The stem is too short for the pipe. I would expect it to be at least 1.5x longer to make the shape work. Also. It looks like the bend in the stem is a bit abrupt. That is likely due to the shortness of the stem.

As far as shaping of the stummel goes- good job- from the angles you posted, it looks like an attractive, organically curving pipe. As far as the stem goes, I recommend tying the stem's length to another measurement on the pipe. In this instance, I'd recommend the widest diameter of the bowl(front-back). That length would be almost the same as the shank length, which would give a nice visual repetition to the design.
Also, when your shank is flaring outward, a tapered stem usually is not the best option. You would be better off with some sort of saddle stem- as is, it makes the stem look too bulky.
