Restoration

Post by Albert.A »

Hello everyone,

Today I don't show a pipe I made myself but rather I pipe I just fixed up a little. It was given to me a while back along with a few pipe rapair boxes from my dads friend whos father was a pipesmoker and enthusiast all his life.

What I did on the pipe was a new stem and then I just gave it a polish because I don't want to touch the pipe itself. I don't know what company made it, but someone on here told me it was probably made by Comoy. I don't know why I decided to go for a P-lit other than I have never tried one, and the pipe is a system pipe, and I think about peterson and their P-lips when I hear system pipe, kinda...

The first pic is the before pic. :)

Perfection is key, but damn near impossible to achieve!

Thanks for showing us your pipe. I also enjoy restored pipes as well as working on pipes considered past their prime. I learn a lot when I try restoring pipes.
