Yes we are! I just need to take photos of my contribution, then I'll draw names.

Please note:
I will be populating the list with folks that have posted photos of their contribution. If you did not post photos, you won't be included in the list. If you have a pipe, but are having problems posting photos, send me an email or PM and I'll host them on the server here.

I'll give everyone until about 22:00 GMT, then I'll post the trade order. Only a few hours left!

Sorry - a few minutes late. I was engaged in a conversation with a Mr. Jameson and was quite distracted. I've excused myself momentarily, and have the list in hand!

The list - we had quite a few participants this time around!
  • bandkbrooks
  • jogilli
  • SWM
  • DMI
  • Abi Natur
  • Charl
  • Mad Tinker
  • Walle
  • eder
  • kurthuhn
  • Eric
  • taharris
  • JMG
  • mredmond
  • Philthy
  • DaGamba
As with previous trades, you send your pipe to the person below you, and the last person on the list sends theirs to the first. Send each other a PM to arrange for shipment.

Most of all, use this as an opportunity to get and give honest and constructive feedback regarding your pipes. Nothing is quite as helpful and detailed as hands-on feedback.

Questions? Comments?

Oh, I will be posting my pictures momentarily. :)

Sorry, Kurt!

You should at least try to be honest: It was me who made this one, not you.
I recognise this by the two pimples on the right side that I deliberately positioned there in order to make this pipe individuate.

Shame on you!

Yes, my apologies all. As it turns out, not only am I fan of his work, but I am also periodically taken over by the consciousness of Roger Wallenstein as he sleeps. That way he is able to increase his output significantly!

So as it turns out, this pipe may have been made Roger after all.

Holy cow!
That's a good way of starting the year! Outstanding pipe coming over to my secret lab.
I hope some good critics to mine also. Be gentle, Kurt ;)

Sorry guys, I joined in and then dropped the ball. I have been moving into a new place as well as working on major remodeling. I have also been working on a new pipe workshop which is coming along great and will be up and running soon.

I also haven't had internet at the new place and have been here since October. I can't get highspeed at all....... which really sucks.

I have a pipe and it has come along well. I'll post pics of it when I can and then most likely offer it up here just to get thoughts on my pipemaking.

I'll also post up pics of the new workshop when I get it done. As well as progressive pictures.

Again, I apologize for dropping the ball on my end.

I hope that everyone enjoys their new pipes, as I've seen some very nice ones here.

Thanks again Kurt for doing this again this year.

Folks,

I received my pipe from James quite fast but did not find the time to write until now. It really is a great pipe with a beautiful finish. In my eyes it's a very good tackle on the Walle theme - my thirteen year old son is crazy about the design  and I can understand him well. It is small to medium sized which I like a lot. I haven't smoked it yet but it is waiting on my shelf...

Thank you James!

Best,

Steffen

Guys ,
I received my pipe from David and it is an original sea-cucumber shaped with patients into a beautiful horn pipe. The rustication was not just on the surface of the pipe,David went into every little cucumber tentacle detail and rusticated every side from all four angles .The chamber is clean opened and smooth and It is a lightweight.I will take it slowly from here into the smoking experience,no hurry .

It takes pride on my single olive wood shelf and out of the every day reach from my kids, since the shape has become also very appealing to them

Thank you David and best regards,
Abi

I would love to do one this year if we could, of course I wish we were doing the same assignment, I love these pipes.

"but rev, isn't smoking a sin?"

well I suppose if one were to smoke to excess it would be a sin

"but what would be smoking to excess?"

Why smoking two pipes at once of course
