I'm probably not the right judge since my Heeschen is some 4 years old and the bit is good but not really that thin. My WO Larsen by Teddy (late 1970s) has a much thinner and more comfortable bit. PS: I've been impressed by a German maker, Paul Becker, who make great bits in friggin' acrylic! I'll buy one from him in Chicago...
