The first time I ever heard "youinz" was September 1976. It was my first day of college (IUP), and the kid in the room next to mine was talking with me. He said, "Did youinz eat yet?" I just looked at him, trying to figure out what a youinz was. He eventually explained it to me, along with things like jagger bush, fast cut, gum band, and of course, pop.

Just a heads up:

Drew Estate will be hosting The Saturday Event with specials on Cigars & Pipe Tobacco, and there will be free swag giveaways. Compliments of or buddy DrewEstateSam.

Also, there will be a goodie bag for each pipemaker on Sunday with gifts from Smokers' Haven, Drew Estate, and a few other vendors.

I just got in the JAlan Tooling - Spoon Bits, French Disks, & Military Bits. They will be available for Sale as well. I have tested all of them, and they ROCK! Supplies may be limited on these fine tools, and if you would like to reserve any, please let me know. You will see them in action at the event on Sunday.

Did Quinton Wells ever call you? If not, I guess he thought I'd let you know. We're riding together. He's in for the full deal.

See what you started?

Premal what's the pricing on the JAlan tooling? Sounds like it's shaping up to be a great event.

I am a Retailer for the Jalan design tools, but I do not want to publicly offer them through forums or hijack this thread. Please email or pm me for Retail pricing. I will pm you Micah.

They will also be available through Pipemakersemporium and others.

You mean like bodyguards? You're hired. (I heard Walt is going, and I think he's still mad at me)

d.huber wrote:In case anyone is still looking for accommodations, I recommend booking a room at the Wayfaring Buckeye Hostel. It looks incredibly clean and secure, is very well reviewed, and is about a half mile walk from Smoker's Haven.

Here's the site: http://www.wayfaringbuckeye.com/

They have 3 and 5 bed dorm room set ups. If you need a nice place to stay that's close to the shop for less than $60 for two nights, I doubt you'll beat this.

Nate, Jessie, and I have booked a 3 bedroom already and there still appear to be a few available. Bunk up, fellas!

I'm looking at the Days Inn. I'm too old and cranky to stay in a hostel. It would end up being hostile. :P And the Staybridge Suites won't be approved by my CEO. Unless I can find a decent Bates Motel (independent), Days Inn is at the top of the list, and it is only two miles from the shop.

Well, I am hoping next year to move the pipe making workshop into a separate facility that is 1000 sqft or more. Should be able to host quite a bit more in that space. I first need to get one or two more pipe makers on staff. Anyone interested?
